New to Minecraft? Don't know where to start? Fear not! This course is designed for those who are complete beginners. In this course, you will learn the basics from where to find and install Minecraft, through to how to navigate your way around Minecraft worlds. We also make time to illustrate the ways in which Minecraft can be used across the whole curriculum with learners at a variety of ages and stages. Our intermediate course is aimed at those who are comfortable working in a Minecraft world. If you can navigate, place blocks and use your inventory then you are ready to advance to our intermediate course where we'll develop your understanding of in-game mechanics such as 'redstone', explore education-specific functions such as classroom mode and the portfolio for Assessment. We'll leave you with access to our Immersive Minds Intermediate Minecraft teaching worlds and lesson ideas so you can continue on your Minecraft learning journey.

About This Course
In our Advanced course you will explore the world of coding using Minecraft. Advance your students skills by using this novel platform to teach computational thinking, logic, problem-solving and more using Command Blocks, block code to JavaScript. You'll meet Agent, your friendly in-game guide and companion as you learn how to code using MakeCode. This course comes with a legacy package of 50+ Minecraft coding lessons.
